Lucknow: Samajwadi celebration president akhilesh yadav on monday criticized Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath for accomplishing an aerial survey of vegetation, pronouncing he "lacked the bravery" to confront indignant farmers on the ground.

Adityanath had done an aerial survey of the maize crop on Sunday.

In a post on X, Yadav took a swipe at Adityanath's survey, announcing it was no longer time constraints but fear of public anger that kept him away from assembly farmers without delay.

The former leader minister did not call each person within the public but published a news record of the survey.

"The ones doing aerial surveys for agriculture are not brief of time, however quick of the 'braveness' required to face the farmers' anger on the ground," Yadav wrote in Hindi.

He, in addition, puzzled over the effectiveness of such surveys, asking whether or not stray cattle—a first-rate problem for farmers within the kingdom—can even be seen from such heights.

"Farmers are asking, can stray animals be visible from such an altitude?" he posted.

The remarks come amid growing complaints from farmers about crop harm due to unseasonal rains and the menace of stray cattle, a difficulty that has remained a challenge in rural Uttar Pradesh.
