7 children died and 28 were injured when a dilapidated building of a government school collapsed in Jhalawar. vasundhara raje and education minister madan Dilawar reached the hospital and met the injured.


The building of Pipalod government school in Jhalawar district of rajasthan collapsed on friday (25 July) morning when the children were gathering for a prayer meeting. So far, 7 children have died in this tragic accident, while 28 have been injured, many of whom are in critical condition. 


Former chief minister Vasundhara Raje reached the hospital with her son, mp Dushyant Singh, and met the injured children and consoled their families. Meanwhile, State education minister madan Dilawar also met the affected families at Manohar Thana Community health Center and assured them of all possible help.


Vasundhara Raje got angry about the negligence of the education department

Former chief minister vasundhara raje blamed the education department's negligence for this accident. She said that if the department had identified the dilapidated school building in time and sent the children to a safe place, this tragedy could have been avoided


She demanded that all schools in the state be surveyed, dilapidated buildings be identified, and children be shifted to safer places. Describing the incident as extremely sad, Raje appealed that politics should not be done in such cases, and human sentiments should be given priority.


Protests, stone pelting, and detention incidents

After the accident, angry villagers and relatives of the deceased protested outside Guradi Circle and SRG Hospital in Jhalawar and blocked the road. congress leader naresh Meena also joined the protest, but the police took him into custody. During the protest, stones were pelted at the police, as a result of which a policeman was injured. After this, the police dispersed the crowd by using mild force. At present, 20 children are admitted to the hospital, out of which 12 are undergoing treatment in Jhalawar and 8 in Manohar police station.


Government's trust and promises of relief

Education minister madan Dilawar visited the hospital to check on the condition of the injured and assured the victim's families of all possible help. He said that the families of the deceased children will be assisted by the government, and no shortage will be allowed in the treatment of the injured. Meanwhile, Jhalawar SP amit Kumar Budania said that the bodies will be handed over to the families today (26 July). The administration has started work on investigating the accident and taking safety measures.
