Pune, Rail travellers between pune and Nanded have a reason to cheer, as the Vande Bharat Express is expected to be launched on this route by December 2025. The introduction of this semi-high-speed train promises faster, more comfortable, and convenient travel for passengers compared to existing train services.
The proposed Pune–Nanded route will cover approximately 500 km, with an estimated journey time of around seven hours, significantly reducing travel time for daily commuters and long-distance travellers alike. The Vande Bharat Express is also expected to feature modern facilities, including comfortable seating, on-board catering, Wi-Fi, and advanced safety features, in line with other Vande Bharat trains.
While the exact fare structure and timetable are yet to be officially announced, it is anticipated to be affordable while maintaining the premium features associated with Vande Bharat services. The train will likely stop at major intermediate stations along the route to ensure convenience for passengers traveling to smaller towns.
