Let us tell you that earlier United Spirit Limited belonged to Vijay Mallya, but when Mallya went bankrupt, this company was bought by the british company Diageo. Now Diageo is the owner of RCB.

RCB was worth only this much in 2008

Then RCB was the second most expensive team in IPL. Vijay Mallya had given the ownership of RCB to his company United Spirit Limited. If the RCB team is sold for Rs 17 thousand crore, then it will be the biggest deal in the history of IPL. No team has been sold for such a big price before this. When two new teams came in IPL, lucknow Super Giants was bought by RPSG Group for Rs 7,090 crore. At the same time, CVC capital bought gujarat Titans for Rs 5,625 crore.
