A 30-year-old carpenter was allegedly pushed from the second floor of a building by his colleague during a dispute over talking loudly on the phone during an IPL cricket match in Mumbai, Maharashtra. police gave this information on Tuesday. police said that the carpenter died after falling from two floors.

Both the people lived in Devi Internity Building

An official said that after the incident on monday night in Sai baba Nagar in Kandivali area, the police arrested 25-year-old officer Jamir Khan. According to the Kandivali police station, the deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Jitendra Chauhan. According to the police, investigation revealed that both the people were living on the second floor of 'Devi Internity Building' with other laborers for the last three months. police said that on the day of the incident, Khan was watching the IPL match on his phone when Chauhan came and started talking loudly on his phone.

Pushed from second floor parking

According to the police, disturbed by the noise, Khan asked Chauhan to lower his voice, following which Chauhan allegedly slapped Khan and said, "You are not my boss." police said that a scuffle followed but fellow workers intervened and pacified the two for some time. According to the police, Chauhan, however, started talking on the phone again, following which Khan allegedly pushed him from the second floor parking.

Jitendra was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead during treatment, police said. According to the police, Khan was arrested and booked under Section 103(1) of the IPC for murder. The police officer said that the investigation into the case is ongoing.
