Apart from this, jaiswal said that in the coming year, MHADA has set a target of building 19,497 new houses in the entire state including Mumbai. A plan has been made to build 5,199 houses in mumbai alone. The lottery process for these houses will be started before Diwali.

sanjeev jaiswal said, "Earlier about 19,000 houses were vacant under MHADA, CIDCO and other authorities, but now this number has come down to 12,500. That is, about 7 to 7.5 thousand houses have been allotted. "He told that through initiatives like discount offers, schemes and rental housing, these houses are being distributed rapidly. The target is to allocate 90% of the houses in the next one and a half years.
Big target for construction of houses in the 2025-26 budget
MHADA has set a target of construction of a total of 19,497 houses through mumbai, Pune, Konkan, Nashik, Amravati, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and nagpur regional divisions in its 2025-26 budget. A provision of Rs 9,202.76 crore has been made for this.
