Senior congress leader and former madhya pradesh cm Digvijay Singh's brother Laxman Singh may once again increase the party's problems. Due to the recent controversial statements, congress has started preparing for disciplinary action against him. The party had issued him a show cause notice, the reply to which has now been received, but congress is not satisfied with this answer. The disciplinary committee has termed Laxman Singh's reply as unsatisfactory and has decided to recommend strict action against him.

Taking the whole matter seriously, the party's disciplinary committee chairman and mp Tariq Anwar issued a notice to Laxman Singh on May 9 and asked him to respond within 10 days.

Now the party is going to recommend disciplinary action against him. It is believed within the congress that Laxman Singh's statements are damaging the party's image and he is repeatedly causing discomfort in the organization. This is not the first time that his statements have put the party in the dock.

It is worth noting that Laxman Singh has also joined bjp earlier and then returned to Congress. Currently he is a member of congress but from his recent attitude it seems that his disillusionment with the party leadership is increasing. The congress leadership is now at the juncture of deciding whether such disgruntled leaders should be retained in the party or shown the way out.
