New Delhi: The central authorities are ready to present subsidies to four states that will adopt electric-powered buses in their public shipping system.
The states set to acquire subsidies under the PM e-pressure scheme are Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Telangana. Collectively, these states are set to press into service 10,900 electric-powered buses. The Ministry of Heavy industries said that the towns for you to acquire subsidies and wherein the electric buses will run include Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Surat.

The minister of Heavy industries, HD Kumaraswamy, after a meeting with the ministry officials regarding the rollout of the program, said, “From Bengaluru to Delhi, cities are actively embracing electric buses to make public transport cleaner, smarter, and greener.”
Consistent with a record in Mint, the government allocated 4,500 electric-powered buses to Bengaluru, 2,000 to Hyderabad, 2,800 to Delhi, 1,000 to Ahmedabad, and 600 to Surat, beneath the High minister E-Force scheme.

Those that are 8 meters and up to 10 meters get a subsidy of Rs 25 lakh, and people above 10 meters and up to 12 meters will get a maximum subsidy of Rs 35 lakh.
