'I want to donate MP's salary for farmer's daughters', Harbhajan Singh's announcement won hearts. Former cricketer harbhajan singh, who became a rajya sabha MP from aam aadmi party, has made a big announcement.



Harbhajan Singh alias Bhajji wrote on twitter that he will donate his rajya sabha salary. He wrote with a very generous heart: as he is s a member of rajya sabha and also he has faced many struggles in life to attain this position, he wants to donate his salary for the education and welfare of farmers' daughters. 

Harbhajan Singh was elected unopposed from punjab last month. The aam aadmi party had elected harbhajan singh, Raghav Chadha, lovely professional university founder ashok Mittal, IIT delhi professor sandeep Pathak and industrialist sanjeev Arora to the rajya sabha on march 31. All these candidates were elected unopposed.


There were reports that harbhajan singh may join the bharatiya janata party (BJP).  The then punjab Congress chief, Navjot Singh Sidhu also met Bhajji, when it was being said that he might join the Congress. harbhajan singh joined AAP and was elected rajya sabha MP.


Harbhajan Singh had retired from every form of cricket in december 2021. In 2016, he played his last t20 match against uae in the Asia Cup. This was his last international match. He played 103 test matches for india and took 417 wickets. In One Day international, he played 236 matches and took 269 wickets. harbhajan singh played 28 t20 matches for india and took 25 wickets. Currently harbhajan singh is doing commentary in IPL.
