Scientists and experts say that the danger is increasing not only in joshimath but also in nainital and Uttarkashi. Here also the news of earthquakes keeps coming due to which the possibility of a big accident remains. According to Scientific professor Bahadur Singh Kotla of Kamaun University, joshimath, nainital, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, and Champawat are also in danger of landslides.

Experts say that the crisis can deepen in these cities at any time. Human activities and toe-erosion are responsible for this. It has been told that with the arrival of a large number of people here, with more and more sensitive construction, mining has been becoming a problem. Regarding this incident, experts say that the 'main central thrust' is responsible for the situation in Joshimath. It is a geological process. Because of this, the indian plate slips under the Eurasian plate. This activity is also considered responsible for the earthquake coming here.

Apart from this, obstruction in the path of water coming from the mountains can also be a major reason for this landslide. Due to the non-availability of water in the rivers after rain or snowfall, a lot of water enters the ground, which later makes its way, and the land becomes hollow. Please tell that the PMO had called a high-level meeting, after which a team is being sent to Joshimath. At the same time, prime minister Modi has assured to help in every way by calling cm Dhami. The central and state governments are working together on this issue.
