Reportedly Aamir Khan has started shooting for his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha in Turkey. The film was being shot in india before the coronavirus pandemic hit the nation. In march, the coronavirus lockdown was announced, forcing the producers to stop the shooting of the film. Now, Aamir has again kicked off the shooting of Laal Singh Chaddha in Turkey. Since it will difficult to resume shoot in the country, Aamir decided to shift his film to Turkey. Apart from Aamir, akshay kumar too jetted off overseas to shoot his film Bell Bottom. The film's other cast members vaani kapoor, lara dutta, Huma Qureshi, jackky bhagnani and deepshikha Deshmukh, among others, accompanied Akshay. Akshay's wife twinkle khanna and daughter Nitara also went to UK with the actor.
Coming to Laal Singh Chaddha, the film is the official hindi remake of the 1994 film directed by Robert Zemeckis. Before the coronavirus pandemic, Aamir was seen shooting for the film in kolkata and Chandigarh. Laal Singh Chaddha also stars kareena kapoor Khan in the lead role. It is directed by Advait Chandan. In november 2019, aamir khan took to social media to reveal the release date of Laal Singh Chaddha. However, as the shooting of the film was haltered due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the makers have now decided to release it on christmas next year. aamir khan had shot at amritsar, chandigarh, kolkata and himachal pradesh for the film before the production was stalled due to Covid-19.
