On a twist to the tale, bcci is now discussing with Sri Lankan cricket Board to help india to host the t20 World Cup. There are lots of reports and speculations earlier that the uae will be hosting the showpiece event and the indian cricket Board has already been in talks with them. But now there are reports coming out from bcci that the officials are discussing along with ECB, SLC (Sri Lanka cricket board), and uae as well.



The decision to take the game away from the uae was made as the rest of the IPL games are also taking place in uae and the pitches are expected to get tired by the t20 world cup time. Also, SLC officials are keen to consider the playing conditions as the pitches in india and sri lanka are quite similar.  The conditions will also be helping the spinners just like in indian pitches.



When asked to a bankable source, we heard that it is too early to confirm things and the talks are still going between various cricket board officials. Apart from the pitches, the broadcasters also prefer sri lanka as an option if the matches cannot happen in India. But at the same time, india is also witnessing a decline in the number of fresh cases and the chances of making it happen in india is also among the probable list.
