Vinod Dua has worked for Doordarshan and NDTV channels and is a leading journalist Vinod Dua has passed away. He was 67 years old and died at a private hospital in Delhi. 


Vinod Dua, who was undergoing post-covid-19 treatment, was admitted to a private hospital in delhi due to deteriorating health. He was admitted to an intensive care unit due to physical difficulties. 


He has worked for several media houses, including Doordarshan and NDTV. Vinod Dua's wife and radiologist Padmavathi Dua died in june this year due to a covid-19 infection. The children are comedian and writer Mallika Barkur Dua and clinical psychologist Bakul Dua.


Vinod Dua, who was awarded the padma shri in 2008 for excellence in media, was the first visual media personality to win the Ramnath Goenka Award in 1996. 

In june 2017, he won a  lifetime achievement award in journalism and mumbai Press Club also awarded him the RedInk Award by devendra fadnavis former cm of Maharashtra.

Vinod  Dua also hosted a tv program in the NDTV channel named Zaika india Ka, for he travelled across the cities, through highways, roads, and also he had tasted several dishes.


He also worked in The Wire hindi as an anchor hosting a program called  Jan Gan Man Ki Baat. Funeral services will be held at 5 pm tomorrow at Lodhi Cemetery.
