A number of biopics have recently been announced by the massive production company T-Series. Another biographical drama has just been added to the roster. The life of India's coffee King VG Sidhartha, who founded the well-known cafe chain Cafe coffee Day, may soon be the subject of a movie. The book "Coffee King: The Swift Rise and Sudden Death of Cafe coffee Day Founder VG Sidhartha," written by Rukmini Rao and Prosenjit Datta, will serve as the basis for this movie.

"T-Series Films and Almighty Motion Picture in conjunction with Karma media Entertainment are happy to have acquired the AV rights to the biography of Entrepreneur par excellence and India's coffee King VG Sidhartha," read a T-Series post announcing the project. According to reports, the producers are now in discussions with directors and actors. In the upcoming days, there will be a formal announcement addressing the full cast and crew.

For the uninitiated, Sidhartha was a well-known businessman who established the nationwide success of his chain of cafes, Cafe coffee Day. On July 29, 2019, he vanished. His body was discovered in the Netrhavati river close to Mangaluru two days later. Suicide was listed as the cause of death by the police. His career has experienced a sharp peak and fall, so it will be intriguing to see his life on the big screen.
