Mid-Night action-TN minister Senthil balaji arrested by ED..?
In the wee hours of Wednesday, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested v Senthil balaji, a minister for tamil Nadu. balaji will be questioned in relation to an alleged instance of money laundering after breaking down while authorities were picking him up.
According to reports, the DMK leader was "seen crying in pain" as his followers gathered to protest the ED move while lying in a car. In the midst of strict security, balaji was brought to Chennai's Omandurar government Hospital for a medical examination.
DMK minister Udhayanidhi stated that, "Senthil balaji is getting medical care. We will cope with it legally. We are not frightened of the attacking politics of the BJP-led central government." High drama was witnessed outside the hospital as balaji was brought there, forcing authorities to deploy Rapid Action Force.
Balaji allegedly complained of chest trouble while being brought into custody by ED agents, according to DMK leaders. Additionally, they claimed that Senthil balaji didn't appear to be aware when the ED took him to the hospital. While Senthil balaji was being treated at the hospital, several DMK supporters including HR and CE minister Sekar Babu, health minister M Subramaniyan, Public Works and Highways minister EV Velu, and sports and youth Welfare minister Udhyanithi stalin attended.
The ED detectives conducted raids at Balaji's Karur home and his office at the state secretariat on tuesday in relation to an alleged money laundering case.
