A lorry collides with an autorickshaw-six people dead...


According to police, an auto-rickshaw carrying six people was struck head-on by a "speeding" vehicle on wednesday in warangal district, leaving one person hurt and six people dead. According to a senior police official, the deceased include the auto-rickshaw driver from Kareemabad in warangal and five honey collectors/sellers from Rajasthan.

According to the police, the event happened near Yellanda village in the Wardhannapet mandal of the district at around 7.30 am, and three persons perished there and then. Four persons were hurt in the collision; the other three were taken to a hospital but passed away while receiving care. In the hospital, one person is receiving care. Senior police officers including warangal police Commissioner A v Ranganath visited the area. police reported that the deceased ranged in age from 20 to 50.

In the past, those who collected and sold honey would gather it in forested areas and sell it there. According to authorities, the event happened when they were in route to gather the material. According to the police, the lorry driver drove into the auto-rickshaw while driving erratically and at high speed, and he was then brought into prison. Additional research is being done.
