Tollywood's prominent producer, dil Raju, has faced a family tragedy with the passing of his father, Shyamsunder reddy, at the age of 86. Shyamsunder reddy had been ailing due to age-related health issues and sadly, he passed away around 8'0 clock on monday night after battling illness for the past few days. This is a significant loss for dil Raju, and he is receiving condolences from telugu film industry colleagues and close friends.
Dil Raju is widely recognized as a multifaceted figure in Tollywood, excelling as a producer, distributor, and exhibitor. He has produced numerous blockbuster films in the telugu industry and has also backed tamil and hindi projects. He is the founder of the production company Sri Venkateswara Creations, known for its successful film ventures. dil raju has earned two National Film Awards, one of them being the Nagi Reddy-Chakrapani Award in 2013 for his significant contributions to popular cinema.
Born in Narsingapally, which is now part of Telangana's nizamabad district, dil raju developed an early passion for movies during his childhood. He later relocated to Hyderabad, where he ventured into the automobile business alongside his brothers. In the 1990s, he made his entry into film distribution with the movie "Pelli Pantri" in 1997. In 1998, he established Sri Venkateswara Film Distributors.
In his personal life, dil raju is married to Anita, and they have a daughter named Hansita Reddy. Tragically, Anita passed away due to a heart attack on march 11, 2017. Subsequently, in 2020, dil raju tied the knot with Tejaswini, who later changed her name to Vaighareddy after their marriage. They welcomed a son in 2022.
