He advised the police department to prioritize traffic control and deploy a suitable number of houseguards to minimize any personnel shortages. He ordered that engaged houseguards be brought back to the traffic wing within three months. He also instructed top officials from hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Rachakonda to adequately coordinate traffic control. "Officials should meet once every month to review traffic-related conditions and take measures accordingly," the chief minister added. This growth coincides with increased traffic bottlenecks around the city, resulting in longer travel times and wasted fuel for cars.

Since december 2023, the hyderabad and secunderabad commissionerates have seen increased traffic congestion.

Meanwhile, analysts cited a variety of causes for the traffic disruption, including excessive VIP movement, particularly near the Dr. BR Ambedkar telangana Secretariat.

They claimed that the visitors to gandhi bhavan and the Secretariat, which included the chief minister's convoy, ministers, and others traveling back and forth for political meetings, dinners, and functions, as well as the lack of traffic police personnel at many junctions, were causing problems.

The present traffic condition on all highways is awful, particularly during peak hours. The dearth of traffic police officers on the ground to control cars has resulted in an unacceptable amount of traffic.

Addressing this situation requires immediate action.

Several motorists have expressed their dissatisfaction with the city's traffic management system. They have gone to social media to express their dissatisfaction and appeal to the appropriate authorities for a lasting solution.
