On Sunday, the state government named naveen Nicolas as secretary of the TSPSC. Anitha Ramachandran, the current secretary, has been moved and appointed panchayat raj and Rural Development secretary.

M Hanumantha Rao has been appointed Special Commissioner of the Information and Public Relations (IPR) Department.

K. ashok Reddy has been assigned as director of the Horticulture Department.

Chief Rationing Officer in Hyderabad, B bala Maya Devi was moved and appointed as the bc Welfare Commissioner.

B Gopi, director of Agriculture, has been appointed to the Fisheries Commissioner's Advisory Council.

TS Christian Minorities Finance Corporation Managing director A Nirmala Kanthi Wesley was moved and appointed director, WCD and sc Development, succeeding Vakati Karuna.

Wesley will also assume the position of Managing Women's Finance Corporation.

On Sunday, the State cabinet made a number of decisions, including approving free power and Rs 500 LPG cylinders, as well as changing the telangana Talli monument and State emblem. It also voted to alter the State's automobile registration prefix from TS to TG. The proposal for a caste census was also accepted.

Briefing the media after the four-hour cabinet meeting, IT minister D sridhar Babu and Information and Public Relations minister Ponguleti srinivas reddy said the cabinet decided to implement two more guarantees from the Six Guarantees after discussing them in the assembly session, which begins on february 8.
