On Thursday, february 29, a crocodile invaded farmlands close to Muthyalamma village in Tripuravaram mandal of nalgonda district, Telangana. Since crocodiles don't often occur on telangana farms, the farmers were alarmed to see one splayed out on their property. The crocodile will be captured by forest officers and released into the waters of nagarjuna Sagar.

A newborn crocodile washed up from an open sewer in hyderabad earlier in september after an evening of torrential rainfall hit the city. When the reptile emerged from the drain in Khairatabad's Chintal Basti neighborhood, nearby neighbors became alarmed. The baby crocodile shocked everyone as it emerged from the overflowing sewer caused by the heavy rain. They told the police, and the police notified the Forest Department.

The location of the reptile sighting is where a bridge is being built across the drain. A sizable crowd of inquisitive bystanders assembled to view the crocodile, which is thought to have washed up on the coast by the floodwaters. Following a four-hour operation, the crocodile was captured by the Forest Department with the assistance of police and Disaster Response Force (DRF) personnel. Later, the reptile was moved to the city's Nehru Zoological Park.
