Planning to continue their journey to nepal via Bihar, they set up a tent for the night in a deserted area in Dumka. Unfortunately, the couple became the target of a group of 10 assailants after dark. The thugs attacked the husband, causing injuries, and then proceeded to gang-rape the Spanish woman.
Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the case, and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed for a thorough inquiry. The victim is undergoing medical tests at a hospital in Dumka, and further investigations are ongoing.
