For the impending lok sabha elections, the bjp unveiled its fifth list of 111 candidates on Sunday. Among the most well-known figures on the bjp list were bollywood star kangana ranaut, former congress MP naveen Jindal, former judge Abhijit Gangopadhyay, and actor Arun Govil.
 
Naveen Jindal, who left the congress and joined the bjp earlier today, has been awarded a ticket from the Kurukshetra seat in Haryana, while kangana ranaut has been fielded from her birthplace of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh.
 

In the meanwhile, the bjp removed varun gandhi from Pilibhit, Uttar Pradesh, and gave the seat to Jitin Prasada, a former congress politician.

But Maneka Gandhi, his mother and a former Union minister, has kept her seat in Sultanpur.
 
Actor Arun Govil has entered the race for the meerut lok sabha seat. Govil portrayed Lord ram in the well-liked television series Ramayan.
 
Abhijit Gangopadhyay, a former judge of the calcutta High Court, was given a ticket from the Tamluk seat in West Bengal.
 
Former trinamool congress member arjun singh and former bjp member Tapas Roy will run in the Barrackpore and kolkata North districts, respectively.
 

Rekha Patra, a Sandeshkhali resident who participated in the demonstrations against Sheikh Shahjahan, the previous leader of the trinamool congress, has also been granted a ticket by the BJP. She is running for the lok sabha seat representing Bashirhat.
 
Odisha's Sambalpur is home to Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan, while Puri-born bjp national spokesman Sambit Patra is running.
 
The BJP's candidate from Krishnanagar is Rajmata amrita Roy, a member of the Krishnanagar Royal family who joined the party last week. Mahua Moitra, the head of the trinamool congress, will be her opponent.
 

In the wayanad constituency, congress leader rahul gandhi will face kerala bjp President K Surendran as the party's nominee.
 
Sita Soren, the sister-in-law of former chief minister Hemant Soren, is a former mla for jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and will contest from the Dumka constituency.
 
Today, the bjp released its fifth list, which includes 111 candidates from 17 states.
