Mohammed ali Shabbir, a senior leader of the congress and advisor to the telangana administration on matters about SC, ST, BC, and minorities, accused the BRS leaders of crying crocodile tears over the problems faced by farmers. He said, "Given that the BRS government has completely neglected the farm sector over the last ten years, with what face are BRS leaders going to the farmers?"

He said that BRS officials were carrying out the "drama" of going to farmers to assess crop loss, particularly former minister Harish Rao. According to shabbir ali, during the BRS's ten-year administration, harvests were lost to drought or other natural disasters at least six times. However, the former BRS administration never once offered crop damage compensation or even paid a visit to the impacted farmers. As a result, the people voted against BRS in the most recent assembly elections, which helped the congress party win,” he continued.

The BRS "stinks because it is full of corruption," he declared.

He said that thousands of crores in "bribery" by previous chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) was the reason behind the Medigadda barrage's failure. He claimed that farmers were no longer hopeful about receiving water for their crops.

Shabbir said that Santosh Rao, the nephew of KCR, was dealing with "severe cases of land grabbing," while KCR's daughter and MLC, K Kavitha, was in jail for her suspected participation in a liquor fraud.

He suggested that BRS officials should "go to jail rather than visit farmers" at this point.

Shabbir ali stated that crops have been harmed by hailstorms and unexpected rain, and the state administration has started counting the losses in the villages down to the field level.

In our conversations with farmers and tenant farmers, we have urged them to be brave in order to prevent the farmers from giving up. Every farmer who has lost produce will have our help. He said that all of the state's farmers who have lost out will receive compensation from the government.

According to him, in the belief that “the self-esteem of the farmer brothers would not be damaged,” chief minister Revanth reddy had instructed the officials to assess the crop damage.
