Ch. madan Reddy, a senior BRS leader and former narsapur mla, is expected to join the congress shortly. One of K. chandrasekhar Rao's senior aides is apparently preparing to join the ancient party in order to run for the medak mp seat. Following former chief minister and BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao's allocation of the medak mp ticket to former IAS member Venkatram reddy, madan Reddy's supporters coerced him into joining the governing party.
 
Madan reddy represented narsapur as a BRS mla in 2014 and 2018. He has long maintained a tight relationship with the BRS supremo. In the recent assembly elections, former minister V. Sunita Laxma reddy was fielded and won by the BRS high command, who chose not to renominate him from the constituency. madan Reddy was allegedly promised the Medal mp ticket by chandrasekhar Rao.
 
But to his dismay, P. Venkatram reddy, a former IAS officer turned politician, ran as a BRS mp candidate from medak, which infuriated madan Reddy and his supporters. In this particular setting, following discussions with former mla Mynampally Hanumanth Rao, madan Reddy made the decision to join the congress and run for MP.
