KCR criticizes Cong govt in T'gana for not keeping its word...

Former chief minister and president of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), K Chandrashekar Rao, stated on saturday that the telangana government fell within four months of the congress taking office because the new administration was ineffective and lacks sincerity in addressing the concerns of the populace. At a public event at Chevella to kick off the BRS's election campaign for the Lok Sabha, which is slated to take place in the state on May 13, kcr said that the congress had taken power by deceiving the public with lofty claims made under the guise of six assurances.

However, the people lost faith in it after four months since the administration did not live up to any of its promises. He recalled that the congress had pledged prior to the elections to increase the financial assistance provided to scheduled caste beneficiaries under the Dalit Bandhu scheme from ₹10 lakh to ₹12 lakh. "Whatever became of the promise? He criticized and threatened to stage a large-scale dharna with beneficiaries at the Ambedkar statue in hyderabad if the congress government did not fulfill its promise. In reality, the previous BRS government approved funds for the payment of ₹10 lakh to each of the 1.30 lakh Dalit beneficiaries under the Dalit Bandhu scheme, but the new government failed to release even a single rupee.

KCR recalled that his government had previously given free, round-the-clock power supplies to agriculture, but that at the moment, the state was suffering from widespread power outages as well as a shortage of drinking water and irrigation. He claimed that "even the scholarships being paid for the poor students to study abroad have been stopped." kcr asserted that he had battled valiantly to bring telangana statehood, drawing inspiration from Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. "To honor the great leader, our government built a 125-foot-tall statue of Babasaheb and named the state secretariat after him," he stated. Whether the BRS was in power or not, kcr swore to fight for the people of telangana until the end of his life. He declared, "We will keep pulling the government up and bringing it to its knees to resolve the people's issues."
