Hyderabad is still enjoying a reprieve from the scorching heat, and more rain is predicted in the coming days. hyderabad has received a yellow advisory from the india Meteorological Department for the next four days due to thunderstorms and rain. IMD hyderabad predicts that from May 16 to 19, there will be heavy rain in much of the south and central regions of Telangana, with the highest amounts expected on May 17 and 18. The city's temperatures are predicted to dip to about 35 degrees Celsius throughout this time.

“Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning and gusty winds (40-50 kmph) very likely to occur at isolated places in Rangareddy, hyderabad, medchal Malkajigiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Mahabubnagar, nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal, komaram bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Mulugu, bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, and yadadri Bhuvangiri districts of Telangana, “ stated the IMD forecast for Thursday.

Hyderabad recorded a temperature of 36.8 degrees Celsius on Sunday. About half of Telangana's districts saw temperatures between 40 and 42 degrees Celsius, while other remote locations like Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Kamareddy, Medak, and nagarkurnool witnessed temperatures between 31 and 35 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded at 42.3 degrees Celsius in Dharmapuri, Jagtial, and 41.8 degrees Celsius in Veenavanka, Karimnagar, and 41.7 degrees Celsius in Ramagundam, Peddapalli.
