Arjun Son of vyjayanthi has been the object of Nandamuri Kalyanram's high expectations.  NTR served as the special guest at the pre-release event, and the actor marketed the movie like never before.  NTR said he was confident in the movie, and everyone who saw it before it came out praised arjun Son of Vyjayanthi's climactic scenes.  The movie struggled to recoup its investments after its debut last Friday.  Considering the hype around the movie and the money it was produced on, the opening reception was below average. 

On Saturday, arjun Son of vyjayanthi did not show any improvement, and on Sunday, the numbers decreased.  The movie had trouble reporting low attendance starting on Monday.  Kalyanram demanded Rs 8 crores for the picture, which had a budget of over Rs 35 crores.  Veteran actress Vijayashanthi also received a substantial salary for her well-known part.  Arjun Son of vyjayanthi was also promoted by the actress, but her presence had no effect.  

Overall, Kalyanram's career has been further let down by arjun Son of Vyjayanthi. For the producers, arjun Son of vyjayanthi is a huge loss. Kalyanram is upset and disappointed with the failure as he pinned huge hopes on this movie.
