Following Madha Gaja Raja's popularity, sundar c made a comeback with Gangers, which starred Vadivelu and himself in the main parts. On april 24, the film was released in theaters around the world.  Sundar C interviewed well-known YouTube channels to promote the film. sundar c recently discussed the usage of obscene material and profanity in his films in an interview that has since gone viral. 

Sundar C said that he wanted his female stars to look stunning on screen and that he had never used unsuitable angles for glamor songs in response to the show's anchor questioning him about the criticism that his films have always received for having too many glitzy scenes. He added that there are no gory scenes or bloody violence in his films. 

He added that he always tried to steer clear of double-meaning lines and special item songs involving women who weren't in the main cast when creating his scripts. He also made sure that his family-friendly films wouldn't have any offensive material, like as rape scenes. After this, social media users said that sundar c was just using lies to get out of answering the question.  They drew attention to the fact that his most recent film, Madha Gaja Raja, included a special item number song with actress Sadha, who only made an appearance for the song and wasn't a member of the main ensemble. 

Additionally, some social media users questioned why he included item numbers and glitzy scenes in his films since he stated that families and children watch them.  Many people chastised sundar c for using too glitzy scenes into his films after Madha Gaja Raja.  Whether sundar c would steer clear of such glitzy scenes in his next films is still up in the air.
