In her 25-year career, shruti haasan may have achieved pan-Indian fame, but her romantic life has been erratic. The 39-year-old actress previously dated actor Siddharth, visual artist Santanu Hazarika, and actor-musician Michael Corsale, who lived in London. She was also connected to actors ranbir kapoor and Dhanush, as well as cricketer suresh Raina. At the moment, shruti is single and content with her alone time.
 
Social media users frequently harass shruti by asking her, "Which number boyfriend is this?"  The multidimensional actress stated in a recent interview that she views her relationship failures as opportunities for personal development and doesn't feel guilty about being asked such questions.

Everyone has "that one dangerous ex" in their lives, shruti clarified, and she ends every chapter with no regrets.  "People don't understand when they ask, 'Which number boyfriend is this?' For them, it's just a number, but for me, it represents the number of times I've failed to find the love I desire.  Therefore, I don't feel guilty about it.  However, I do feel somewhat guilty.  I'm human, of course," she said.  The actress from Salaar, though, wished her relationships hadn't had such an impact on her. 

Shruti went on to say that she has always been incredibly devoted and "good" in her relationships and that she doesn't hold her lovers accountable when they end things.  She did, however, apologize for accidentally hurting several important individuals in her life.  She continued, "I still spend a lot of time apologizing for it."
