Maharashtra minister Pankaja Munde had complained to the police that someone was harassing her repeatedly by sending obscene messages and calls. On the complaint of the bjp leader, the cyber police immediately became active and arrested the 25-year-old accused Amol Kale from pune who sent the obscene messages.

During interrogation, the police came to know that the accused Kale is a resident of Parli in Beed district of Maharashtra. Currently, he is living in pune and for the last few days, he was talking dirty to Pankaja Munde through calls and messages.

Case registered under several sections

After such calls, Pankaja Munde's office contacted the nearest cyber police station and lodged a complaint against the person. After this, the cyber police registered a case under sections 78 and 79 of BNS as well as IT Act and started further investigation.

The police started the investigation and traced the location of the accused who made the call, and his location was found to be from Bhosari area of Pune. After this, the cyber police took the accused Amol Kale (25) into custody with the help of officers from Bhosari police station. During interrogation, Amol Kale admitted to calling Pankaja Munde.

The accused in two-day police custody

After this, mumbai police brought him from pune to mumbai after giving him a notice and arrested him. Amol Kale was produced in the court, where the court sent the accused to police custody for two days.

An officer of the cyber crime wing said that the accused is a student and he had messaged and called Pankaja Munde using abusive language. What was the intention behind the harassing behavior, is currently being investigated.
