Tom Cruise stunned audiences once more by leaping from a fighter jet and hanging from an upside-down plane in the next Mission: Impossible 8 movie, despite having already dazzled audiences with his daring stunts in seven Mission Impossible films over three decades. Knowing how much Cruise enjoys filming these action scenes, actor Simon Pegg claimed that he will go to considerable lengths, even "literally risking his life for the audience" at times.

"You're absolutely nuts" is something that Pegg claimed he remarked to Cruise multiple times, but he doesn't really care.

"Just leaning out of the window and seeing tom sort of hanging there, smiling, this big s--- eating grin on his face, like, 'I'm having the best time,'" Pegg said, describing the filming of a scene for 2011's Ghost Protocol, the fourth installment in the franchise, in which Cruise scaled the exterior of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, the tallest building in the world.  Additionally, he remembered the scene in which the actor held the exterior of a military aircraft before takeoff.

"That was the first time I'd seen him worried," Pegg continued. "That stunt had a lot of moving parts and many potential problems. Everything is meticulously maintained.  The stunt team is incredible, you know.  "It's clear that tom is really committed to being prepared," he told People.
