India's Strong Message To Turkey

India gave a strong message to turkey, which supports pakistan against india, and asked it to tell pakistan to stop supporting terrorism. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir jaiswal said on thursday (May 22, 2025) that india expects turkey to strongly urge pakistan to stop supporting cross-border terrorism and take action against the terrorist machinery.

"We expect turkey to strongly urge pakistan to end its support to cross-border terrorism and take credible and verifiable action against the terrorist ecosystem it has nurtured for decades," he said. "Relationships are built on sensitivity to each other's concerns," he said.

'It does not need any third country'

On Trump's comment, Randhir jaiswal said, "I had said in my last conversation that this matter will be discussed only between india and Pakistan. There is no need for any third country in this. But talks and terrorism will not go together. We are not going to take mediation of any third country on any issue of Jammu and Kashmir."

'Pakistan must return POK'

He further said, "Jammu kashmir is an integral part of India. As you know, the pending matter is only to vacate the indian territory illegally occupied by Pakistan. There will be talks with pakistan only on the issue of vacating POK and it will have to vacate it." Along with this, regarding the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, he said, the Indus Water Treaty will remain suspended until pakistan stops terrorism. Blood and water cannot flow together.

On the trilateral talks between the foreign ministers of China, pakistan, and afghanistan in Beijing, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir jaiswal said, "We have seen some reports. Apart from this, I have nothing more to say."

Regarding External Affairs minister Dr. S Jaishankar's conversation with the Acting Foreign minister of afghanistan, he said, "We had issued a press release. External Affairs minister thanked the Acting Foreign minister for strongly condemning the pahalgam terror attack; they also agreed to further bilateral cooperation in many areas. External Affairs minister also welcomed the strong rejection of recent attempts to create mistrust between india and afghanistan through false and baseless reports."
