Actor simbu, kamal haasan, and Mani Ratnam's new film 'Thug Life' is set to hit the screens on june 5th. The film's promotions are in full swing. During this promotion event, actor simbu shared interesting information about his next film 'STR 50'. simbu has also revealed for the first time what his role will be in it. Accordingly, simbu said that he will be playing a transgender character in this film. In the interview, he said, "There is a transgender character in this film. I discussed with kamal haasan sir how to approach it. An actor's true talent is revealed only when he gets such different characters," simbu said. He also said that this, his 50th film, will be produced through his own company, Aathman Cine Arts.
Simbu said about his own production, "I think it's better to produce it myself. I can make the film the way I want without compromise." Interestingly, 'STR 50' was initially announced to be produced by Kamal Haasan's raj Kamal Films International. Later, the film was shelved. Only then did simbu decide to produce the film himself. "We dropped the previous film because simbu was needed for 'Thug Life'. They can still do it, it's a beautiful story," kamal haasan said in the same interview. It is noteworthy that Yuvan shankar Raja, who has composed music for Simbu's films for a long time, is teaming up with simbu again for 'STR 50'. Directed by Desingu Periyasamy, the film has Manoj Paramahamsa handling the cinematography and praveen handling the editing.
