Ballerina had a high standard to meet—and make Eve a really unique character—because john Wick films are renowned for their amazing battle scenes.  On the topic, Wiseman stated, "There are many parts to that."  According to the filmmaker, he enjoys "playing with the way that it's shot," setting up a familiar scene only to "create something that is unexpected." 

He elaborated, saying “You can do that through sequences, but also, you can do it in the camera movements and language. [It] sounds a little heady, but it’s something I really get into and geek out about.”

Eve's versatility in transforming commonplace objects makes it obvious that she is at least something comparable to john Wick.  Wiseman went on to say, "She has a lot of weapons of choice. She makes her own decisions as she goes along."  At least in terms of Rambo "having to just survive and create weapons out of anything that he can get his hands on," he revealed that Rambo: First Blood served as an inspiration.
 
Wiseman stated, "I would say that Eve's preferred weapon is her skates."  She'll wrap it up, try it, and put it together if it seems like it could take someone down.  However, I think skates are a really awesome weapon of choice. Through the eyes of a fresh character, Ballerina explores the world of john Wick.
