After starting in just one area—one district, actually—the telugu exhibitors' projected theater strike rapidly grew in support and became a significant problem. The situation became so bad that a theater bandh was declared. The rest is history. Following a meeting with producers, the bandh was called off, and june now sees a number of significant releases, including the long-awaited hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan.

Allu aravind spoke to the media yesterday about this.  His press conference had the straightforward goal of assuring pawan kalyan that he has no animosity towards him or his movie.

Dil Raju gave a lengthy speech at a news conference today after Aravind.  In conclusion, dil raju implied that the bandh was organized well before hari Hara Veera Mallu had even verified the date of its release.  It's a fact.  Dil Raju did, however, imply that "someone" in the group, namely from the producers' circle, had deftly reframed the matter to give the impression that Pawan Kalyan's movie was the target of the strike.  He didn't give a name, but it was clear that this producer, who dil raju implied is part of a different side in the current revenue-sharing controversy, took advantage of the circumstance.

Dil Raju claimed that in an attempt to remain loyal to Pawan Kalyan, the producer falsified information in order to change the story to suit his personal interests.  Apart from the usual guarantees like "I would never oppose Pawan Kalyan's film," and so on, that was the main takeaway from dil Raju's press conference.  But in business circles, it's very obvious to whom he was referring—this has been the town's buzz for the past few days.
