Four people involved in a massive scam selling fake apple mobile accessories valued at Rs 1.01 crore were taken into custody by hyderabad municipal police in a significant crackdown. The operation exposed a complex fraud that has been tricking buyers with counterfeit goods masquerading as authentic apple merchandise. It targeted Jagdish Market, a bustling business district known for electronics close to Abids and Koti.

The defendants were apprehended for obtaining and selling counterfeit Apple-branded accessories.  To deceive customers, they had painstakingly imitated apple packaging and emblems.  This harmed the brand's reputation and threatened intellectual property rights in addition to defrauding customers and breaking the Copyright Act.

The suspects' faces were hidden in the footage that the police published.  The public was outraged by this.  Many asked why their names were kept secret.  People left comments like, "Why conceal their faces?  What are their names?  They may continue this scam after they are freed.

"How will people recognize them or defend themselves?"  "Authorities should not only target the foot soldiers involved in this racket, but also the bosses behind it."  An ordinary person cannot possibly own stuff valued at more than one crore.  The capture is a serious setback to Hyderabad's counterfeit sector, which frequently puts customers at risk by oversupplying the market with subpar and perhaps dangerous devices.  The police operation makes it quite evident that the unlawful trade in counterfeit goods will not be allowed to continue.  To destroy the entire supply chain and hold all responsible parties accountable, investigations are still underway.
