The Straw Hats were sailing in the direction of the Grand Line when we last left One Piece. However, they will stop in Netflix's Tudum 2025 before continuing on their journey. Taking place on Saturday, May 31st at 8:00 p.m. ET, the live performance promises One Piece fans "something special." Fans are hoping for at least a Season 2 trailer, albeit we are unsure of the specifics of the news. A release date would be excellent, of course.

Meanwhile, the Straw Hats are getting together for some crew-building activities.  In the most recent video, Luffy is organizing a sleepover.

Although none of Season 2 is actually seen in the movie, it's always entertaining to see our favorite pirates get back again.  The live-action adaptation's first season received accolades for the cast's camaraderie.  The on-screen chemistry of Iñaki Godoy (Luffy), Mackenyu (Zoro), Emily Rudd (Nami), Jacob Romero Gibson (Usopp), and Taz Skylar (Sanji) was praised, and it seems that their relationship has only gotten closer with each new season.  Their on-screen friendship as the Straw Hats, which is a very significant aspect of One Piece, would surely benefit from this.

In the short movie, Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Zoro get together for a sleepover; it's more promotional for Tudum 2025 than Season 2.  There are many amusing asides and jokes in the sequence, which we should expect to see more of in Season 2.  Netflix also teases Tony Tony Chopper, one of the most anticipated characters of Season 2, at the very end of the film.
