One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe series stars shares a new update regarding the potential for Ms. Marvel season 2 after the show's Phase 4 premiere.  Iman Vellani's Kamala Khan, often known as Ms. Marvel, is one of the most well-liked new characters to the MCU in recent years. She first starred in her own solo series before appearing on the big screen in The Marvels.  There are still concerns about whether Ms. Marvel season 2 is still in the works, despite Kamala's absence from the MCU since 2023.

However, red Dagger actress Aramis Knight seems to think that Ms. Marvel season 2 is unlikely to happen.  Knight was asked if he believes red Dagger is no longer in the MCU during an interview with india Herald at the Karate Kid: Legends NYC premiere.  According to the MCU actor, "I wish not, but I think so."  Knight responded to a follow-up query regarding if this meant Ms. Marvel season 2 will not continue by sharing the following:

Aramis Knight: I wish not, but I think so.

India Herald: No Ms. Marvel season 2?

Aramis Knight: I don't think so. I mean it's been a long time now, so I am not really sure. I mean I would love to. I was supposed to make appearances and other things but it didn't end up working out and some logistical stuff and COVID stuff and I think also creative stuff. But I mean that was also an amazing show, but I dunno, I'm still waiting for the call to be honest.

Despite Knight's unfortunate statement on Ms. Marvel season 2, Marvel Studios has not formally canceled the project.  With Kamala's popularity among MCU viewers, especially due to Vellani's performance, it may just be a case of Marvel Studios attempting to determine how to best approach Ms. Marvel season 2.  The absence of Ms. Marvel season 2 updates may possibly be explained by Marvel Studios' intense efforts to complete the remaining chapters of The Multiverse Saga.
