There will now be more stringent regulations governing what passengers can and cannot bring on flights to Dubai. Common drugs and other daily things are included in the recently released list of prohibited and restricted items.

Many travelers may be impacted by this decision, particularly those who are carrying necessary medications.

What's new?

In the past, travelers could conveniently pack personal belongings and necessary medications in their hand luggage. However, numerous things, including several regularly used medications, are now restricted by new regulations that are expressly aimed at flights to Dubai. According to a Times of india story, only authorized medications are permitted, and even then, travelers might require extra authorization or documentation.
