This claim has been made to influence Turkey-India relations. The statement said that only B777-type wide-body aircraft are being maintained under the agreements made between air india and Turkiye Teknik for 2024 and 2025. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft involved in the accident is outside the agreement. Turkiye Teknik has not maintained any such air india aircraft to date. We know which company did the last maintenance of the crashed aircraft, but we do not want any statement on this matter.

A total of 270 people have died in the air india plane crash. The 230 passengers on board the plane included 217 adults, 11 children, and two babies. These included 169 indian citizens, 53 British, seven Portuguese, and one Canadian citizen. Along with 241 people, 12 crew members of the plane have also died in this accident. Only one person has survived. 29 other people present in the medical hostel and nearby areas have also died and many other injured are undergoing treatment.
