Lung cancer is the most prevalent cancer in different states, as this map makes evident. Jammu & kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, West Bengal, andhra pradesh, Kerala, and Manipur are the indian states most impacted by this malignancy.
 
This map also makes it evident that cervical cancer ranks third among females in Punjab, andhra pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh, and second among females in Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, goa, tamil Nadu, and West Bengal.


In Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Nagaland, and goa, breast cancer is the most prevalent type of cancer among women. In Punjab, Maharashtra, and Gujarat, it is the second most common type of cancer among women.  Breast cancer is the third most common type of cancer among women in Tripura.
 
According to this figure, stomach cancer ranks third among cancers that are frequently reported in the states of Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, tamil Nadu, Mizoram, and Goa.  


It is the third most prevalent kind of cancer in Jammu & kashmir and the second most common in andhra pradesh and Nagaland.  In the states of goa and Assam, oral cancer ranks second and third, respectively.  In Tripura, there have been reports of head and neck cancer patients.
 
In Jammu & kashmir, Assam, and Karnataka, oesophageal cancer is the second most frequent type of cancer after lung cancer. Although gall bladder cancer is uncommon in India, several regions of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and bihar have had cases of the disease.
