"Bilawal Bhutto had previously vowed that blood would flow if water didn't flow. I would like to state that such threats will not scare us. Patil declared, "Hum aisi gidar dhamkiyon se nahi darte" (We are not scared of such baseless threats). Regarding the Indus Waters Treaty, the minister said that the indian government alone has the final say and that any choice it makes will only be in the best interests of the country.
The
Modi government plans to divert water meant for Pakistan
The narendra modi government has decided to redirect water intended for pakistan under the Indus Waters Treaty for usage in four indian states: Rajasthan, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Delhi, according to a report by news agency ANI that cited sources.

To ensure that not a single drop of water intended for pakistan is wasted and is instead used to meet the water needs of the four states mentioned above, who will benefit from the diverted water and address their water shortages, the Jal shakti Ministry is working on infrastructure development at a war footing level to implement this decision, according to the report.

Prime minister Narendra Modi's declaration that "Desh ka pani desh ke haq me bahega" (meaning "India's water will flow in India's favor") is consistent with this plan.  Home minister amit shah has been directing and overseeing the Jal shakti Ministry's efforts towards this objective.
