Chennai: tamil Nadu health minister Ma. Subramanian announced that 61,511 people have been given appointment orders in the healthcare sector over the past five years in tamil Nadu.

Recruitment Through Medical services Recruitment Board

According to the minister, 13,093 candidates were appointed through the Medical services Recruitment Board (MRB) during this period. The recruitment process was conducted to strengthen the healthcare system by filling vacancies in hospitals and medical institutions across the state.

The appointments include doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals who play a crucial role in delivering healthcare services to the public.

Strengthening the Public health System

Minister Ma. Subramanian stated that the government has taken consistent steps to improve the healthcare infrastructure by appointing qualified personnel in government hospitals and primary health centres.

The recruitment drive was aimed at ensuring that hospitals function efficiently and that people receive timely medical care.

Improving Healthcare services Across the State

The newly appointed staff have been posted in various government hospitals, medical colleges, and health centres throughout tamil Nadu. This has helped reduce staff shortages and improve the quality of medical services provided to patients.

The government has also focused on strengthening emergency care, maternal healthcare, and preventive medical services through these recruitments.
