New delhi on saturday (28 june 2025) completely rejected Pakistan's attempts to blame india for the suicide attack in Waziristan area of khyber pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. At least 13 Pak army personnel were killed and 24 injured in this attack.


The indian Foreign Ministry said, "We have seen the official statement of the Pakistani army, in which india has been blamed for the attack in Waziristan on june 28. We completely reject this contemptible statement. This is an attempt by pakistan to divert attention."

Suicide attack in khyber pakhtunkhwa province

At least 13 security personnel were killed in a suicide attack in Pakistan's khyber pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday. The media unit of the Pak army gave this information. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement, "The terrorists carried out a planned and well-planned cowardly attack in which they targeted a convoy of security forces in Mir ali area of North Waziristan district." According to the ISPR, a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle of the bomb disposal unit in Khaddi village on saturday morning. It said 14 civilian personnel, including women and children, were injured in the attack, many of whom are said to be in critical condition.

Deadliest incidents in North Waziristan

Sources said curfew was imposed in the area due to military movement at the time of the incident. Security agencies have launched a rescue operation after the blast. He said Usud al-Harb, a terrorist group affiliated to the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, claimed responsibility for the attack. khyber pakhtunkhwa chief minister ali Amin Gandapur has strongly condemned the suicide attack. The chief minister said, "We express our condolences to the brave security personnel and the security forces." Salute to their families who have sacrificed their lives for the country."

The incident is being described as one of the deadliest incidents in North Waziristan in recent months and has raised serious concerns about the security situation in the region. Following the breakdown of the ceasefire agreement between the government and the Tehreek-e-Taliban pakistan in november 2022, pakistan has witnessed a rise in terrorist incidents, especially in khyber pakhtunkhwa and balochistan provinces.
