AB International, which has copyrighted the movie, has filed a petition in the madras high court alleging that some scenes from the movie chandramukhi were used without permission. It has demanded compensation of Rs. 5 crores. With this, the madras high court heard the petition. It has ordered a reply within two weeks. It seems that it has been ordered to tell how much income it has earned after the release of the documentary.
