According to the Joint Implementation Committee (JIC) report, a majority of JEE Advanced 2025 toppers have chosen IIT bombay over other premier institutes. This year, 73 of the top 100 rank holders have secured admission at IIT bombay, making it the most sought-after IIT in India. The preference shows the institute’s strong reputation in academics, research, and placement opportunities.

While IIT bombay attracted the majority of toppers, IIT delhi came second, with 19 candidates from the top 100 choosing it. IIT madras stood third with six toppers. No other IIT managed to secure candidates from this elite group.
