> To pique students' interest in tamil, the government tamil college of Arts and Sciences, Engineering college, and Medical college will establish student tamil forums and hold yearly Tamil-themed competitions. This year, a total of Rs 5.36 crore will be distributed, with each college receiving Rs 5 lakh, 100 colleges receiving Rs 5 crore, and competitions receiving Rs 36 lakh.

> Rs. 9,000 per annum would be given to each school to upgrade tamil forums in 6,218 government high schools and secondary schools in tamil Nadu, as well as to hold three tamil gathering events every year. This will receive $5.60 million per year.


At the tamil University, tamil cultural practises will be documented and recreated. This will be funded with 2.11 crore.

> To achieve the high grades of the National Quality Assessment Board, tamil University will undergo structural improvements and special maintenance (NAAC). This will be funded with Rs 2 crore.

> The United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will contribute Rs. 1 crore in financial aid.


The World tamil Research Institute Research Library will be upgraded, the library will be computerised, and the library of the tamil Development Directorate will be upgraded with a budget of Rs. 78 lakhs.
