Giving information about the cabinet meeting, delhi education minister ashish Sood said that important decisions were taken in today's cabinet meeting for the children studying in private schools and the delhi government has approved to bring an ordinance to control the fees of private schools.
'Will send draft to Lieutenant Governor'
delhi education minister ashish Sood said, "After the approval of the cabinet today, now the proposal and draft of the ordinance will be sent to the Lieutenant governor of delhi and then the Lieutenant Governor's ordinance will be sent to the President for approval. After this, after getting the approval of the President, the ordinance to control the fees of private schools in delhi will be implemented in Delhi.
Order will be issued in backdate
Along with this, delhi education minister ashish Sood informed that the order of the delhi government to control school fees will be effective retrospectively from april 1, 2025. According to education minister ashish Sood, the ordinance of the delhi government to control the fees of schools will be very beneficial for the parents and the schools cannot increase the fees at their own will.
Schools will have to return the fees
Let us tell you that the delhi government is implementing the ordinance retrospectively from april 1, 2025. In such a situation, the schools will have to return the fees increased in this session. Also, private schools will be allowed to increase the fees only on the basis of the rules present in the ordinance.
