The devendra fadnavis government of maharashtra will give letters of Intent (LOI) to five major foreign universities under the 'Mumbai Rising - Creating an international education City' initiative. For this, an official ceremony has been organized at the taj mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai. The five universities invited to build campuses in mumbai and Navi mumbai include Aberdeen University, York University, Western australia University, Illinois Institute of technology and Istituto Europeo di Design (IED).

Union education minister dharmendra pradhan will be the chief guest at this event. maharashtra chief minister devendra fadnavis, Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and ajit pawar as well as Higher and Technical education minister chandrakant patil will also be present at the ceremony. education City to be built near Navi mumbai Airport

This initiative launched by the maharashtra Government in collaboration with CIDCO aims to develop an international education City near Navi mumbai international Airport. Spread over a radius of 5 km, this education center will be the first of its kind in the country which will give students an opportunity to get high-quality international studies in india itself.

This project will not only improve the academic standards in india but will also promote cultural exchange and collaboration between indian and international students and teachers. The 'International education City' will help bring global education to us and create opportunities for students from all over India.
