🧀 Easy Paneer pulao Recipe


Paneer pulao is a flavorful rice dish made with indian cottage cheese (paneer), aromatic spices, and basmati rice. It’s easy to make and best for lunch or dinner.


📝 Ingredients:


Basmati rice—1 cup (soaked for 20 minutes)


Paneer—200 g (cubed)


Onion—1 (sliced)


Ginger-garlic paste—1 tsp


Green chilies—1-2 (slit)


Entire spices—1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 1 small cinnamon stick, 2 cardamoms


Cumin seeds—½ tsp


Blended vegetables (elective)—½ cup (carrot, peas, beans)


Water – 2 cups


Ghee or oil—2 tbsp


Salt—to flavor


Sparkling coriander or mint leaves—for garnish


👩‍🍳 Training Steps:


Fry Paneer:


Lightly fry paneer cubes in ghee or oil until golden. Set apart.


Cook spices:


Warm ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and entire spices. Sauté till aromatic.


Sauté vegetables.


Add sliced onions and inexperienced chilies. Sauté till golden. Upload ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.


Upload vegetables & rice:


Upload chopped vegetables (non-obligatory) and soaked rice. Mix lightly for 1-2 minutes.


Add water & salt.


Pour in 2 cups of water and add salt. Bring to a boil.


Upload paneer & cook dinner.


Upload fried paneer cubes. Cover and simmer on low heat for 12–15 minutes until rice is cooked.


Serve warm.


Garnish with coriander or mint leaves and serve with raita or salad.
