Paneer pulao is a flavorful rice dish made with indian cottage cheese (paneer), aromatic spices, and basmati rice. Itâs easy to make and best for lunch or dinner.
đ Ingredients:
Basmati riceâ1 cup (soaked for 20 minutes)
Paneerâ200 g (cubed)
Onionâ1 (sliced)
Ginger-garlic pasteâ1 tsp
Green chiliesâ1-2 (slit)
Entire spicesâ1 bay leaf, 2 cloves, 1 small cinnamon stick, 2 cardamoms
Cumin seedsâ½ tsp
Blended vegetables (elective)â½ cup (carrot, peas, beans)
Water â 2 cups
Ghee or oilâ2 tbsp
Saltâto flavor
Sparkling coriander or mint leavesâfor garnish
đŠâđł Training Steps:
Fry Paneer:
Lightly fry paneer cubes in ghee or oil until golden. Set apart.
Cook spices:
Warm ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and entire spices. SautĂŠ till aromatic.
SautĂŠ vegetables.
Add sliced onions and inexperienced chilies. SautĂŠ till golden. Upload ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
Upload vegetables & rice:
Upload chopped vegetables (non-obligatory) and soaked rice. Mix lightly for 1-2 minutes.
Add water & salt.
Pour in 2 cups of water and add salt. Bring to a boil.
Upload paneer & cook dinner.
Upload fried paneer cubes. Cover and simmer on low heat for 12â15 minutes until rice is cooked.
Serve warm.
Garnish with coriander or mint leaves and serve with raita or salad.
